Candy Treasures
I have created a game with tutotoons a kid’s gaming company based out of England. They are a big name in kids mobile gaming with over 300 games and millions of downloads. My task was to design a game for kids, it looked simple but it was quite challenging.Mainly because I had to work within the framework of their game engine which allowed only few features.
My game is based on candies which all kids love. There are 7 mini candy games kids can enjoy. There are two versions of the game in the app store, the free version and the paid version. Only two of the games are locked, in the free version. I have given a description of all the mini games below.
CANDY CLOUD: Hop on a cotton candy cloud and collect small candies of different shapes and colors and avoid bumping into bombs. Tap the screen and hold to go up. Reach for your favorite candies and complete all levels!
SWEET STYLES: It’s candy dress up time! Dress up a sweet little girl with candy clothes, hair bands, jewelry, handbags and shoes! Be your imaginative best with candy dress up and take a picture of your dream candy outfit!
CANDY CHEF: Show your candy maker skills and make the most delicious candies! Mix butter, flour, sugar, chocolate and nuts with a blender, fill baking pan with candy dough and bake a batch of yummy, star shaped candies!
SWEET MEMORIES: Tap treasure chests and see what’s inside them. Match candies, find pairs and train your memory skills while playing!
NET THE CANDY: In different garden inspired backgrounds, candy butterflies will be flying around. Tap and move a butterfly net to catch as many candy butterflies as you can. Avoid bumble bees!
MATCH THE CANDY: Let’s see how well you can sort candies! Match different shaped candies, by dragging and dropping to the correct places to decorate the treasure chests!
BIN THE WRAPPERS: Clean up the candy wrappers! Grab a shovel and throw candy wrappers into the bin, sweep leaves off the road and wash the road with a water hose. You will get a Candy Champ badge for cleaning up the surroundings!
